Underkarl is one of the leading groups in the field of international contemporary jazz from Germany and has been described as the upcoming German formation on the current european jazz scene. Influences form Charles Mingus to Frank Zappa and King Crimson to electronic club sounds. Soon to be released is UNDERKARL’s maxi-LP with re-mixes by Holger Cukay (CAN), Mouse on Mars and Computer Jokeys.
