Where the power of words terminates, there begins the world of music – no frontiers, unambiguous. The possibility to reach people in an authentic and direct way and to touch them emotionally is an integral part of Ulrich Drechsler’s and Stefano Battaglia’s music.
Intimacy, energy, passion and love – that’s what is most important to Drechsler and Battaglia and totally fulfills what they demand from music. And with the intimate instrumentation consisting of bass clarinet and piano, they are capable of expressing it all.
Both are masters in creating endless landscapes full of beautiful sounds, affecting musical atmospheres and catching melodies. Without any expectations and rating they meet each other at eye level, play together, listen to each other and support each other to tell their common stories.

With the „Little Peace Lullabies“ they reawake the art of the song cycle and bring it in a new timeless context. In the „Lullabies“ Drechsler and Battaglia process their influences from mediterranean, oriental, scandinavian and Sufi music with their love for the beauty of
